I learned that lesson during my time as a D1 Football Strength Coach. In 6 years, I would coach at 5 universities across the US. Eventually found myself as the first assistant strength coach at UNM. No matter where I went, I realized changing your situation is hard. Making fitness a part of your lifestyle is hard. We all have wants and desires for our physical appearance and performance. At the same time, we all have jobs, families, and social lives that need our attention. In all of those areas of life, we have an idea of the person we want to be that differs from the person we are. That's our Alternate. We have an idea of what it looks like but we do not always know how to get there. I am no exception to this. But that's why I started Alternate Performance. Because I got myself to a point where I no longer feel that way. I now live the alternate life to what I was once living in New Mexico. And I firmly believe I can get other people to where they want to be.
Essentially, I coach to help people bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to go.
